A going up Theorem for higher Chow groups

Abstract:
There has been a great interest in producing and detecting elements on algebraic K-theory (in particular in higher Chow groups) which are zero under the regulator map but are not trivial themselves.
The aim of this work is to produce some families of cycles in different higher Chow groups which induce a nontrivial element on a special fibre. Moreover, we show that this element on the special fibre is not trivial by showing that it induces a non trivial element on a (different) higher Chow group for a point.
